Quantitative Business Analyst

Summary/Purpose:
Reporting to the Director of Digital, the Quantitative Business Analyst will be responsible for driving insight into the commercial and product performance generating the data to drive decision-making. As a Quantitative Business Analyst, you will identify and solve problems to help grow the business. Your purview will span product-level performance, insight generation, reporting, opportunities identification, quantification & evangelism.

Primary Responsibilities:
§ Help define and measure product success, quality metrics, standards and reporting for digital products.
§ Structure, analyze and report on product performance (core product and commercial sell through) from data extraction, to statistical analysis to visualization.
§ Develop and implement best practice methodologies for the quantitative analysis & visualization of data.
§ Use of a combination of web metrics, product reporting, financial reporting and third-party research data to generate insights on product performance in the market.
§ Proactively structure analyses from hypothesis development to modeling to support commercial decisions and to influence product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.Identify under-penetrated market segments and analyze ROI of key marketing and product initiatives.

· Ability to Use Data to Understand Product Performanceo
Strong quantitative analytical skills and the ability to derive insight from analyses;* Ability to frame and refine hypotheses and use the necessary technical tools to secure and analyze the data to generate conclusion;
* Experience working with large datasets, including ability to pull required data using relevant programs and coding.
* Excellent working knowledge of statistics and quantitative methods. · Drive for Resultso Ability to achieve significant impact, proactively identifying opportunities to influence product and commercial performance;
* Creativity, tenacity and entrepreneurial drive to see ideas through to completion;* Personal ownership to help the business grow and deliver complex and time sensitive results.· Communication Skills * Strong skills in simplifying presentation of complex data.

The most challenging part of the position:
· Rationalising disparate data sources to create a holistic view of product and commercial performance in a repeatable process that advance the depth and frequency of product performance reporting and using that data to influence commercial and product roadmap decisions.

Needed:
· University degree with strong requirement of quantitative coursework such as Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics.
· Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and the ability to derive insight from research and findings
· Exacting standards for data accuracy and analysis logic and methodology balanced with superior grasp of the 80/20 rule.
· Ability to draw actionable conclusions from analyses and to creatively visualise to influence others.
· Self-motivation and passion to make a difference, proactively structuring analyses or executing to brief as required.
· Tenacity to understand business and product issues and relentless drive to use data to solve them.
