Were looking for a Principal Test engineer to join our innovative and challenging Digital Engineering department. Your role has two facets: Technical Leadership and Technical Delivery. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be accountable for designing testing options that address business requirements, ensuring delivered code adheres to our quality standards, and improving and promoting best practice QA across your engineering cell and the department.
This is a key role as you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and quality control within your engineering cell.You must possess significant knowledge of the following: Automation experience (preferably including mobile/tablet devices); knowledge of performance, load and security testing methods; BDD and/or automated acceptance TDD; experience in building a continuous integration (CI) environment; experience in coding test scripts in one or more of Java, Ruby, Python, Groovy, JavaScript, QTP, Selenium, Spock, Cobertura, Codenarc, Cucumber, Testacular and Calabash; and finally experience mentoring and technically leading a team of test professionals.
