IT Business Partner - Bradford - £45,000 + Car/Car Allowance + Benefits
An exciting opportunity has come up to join a long established and successful business based near Bradford in West Yorkshire as an IT Business Partner, to act as the conduit and bridge between the business and the IT department to ensure clarity of communication.
You will act in an internal consultancy role that has responsibility for identifying and improving business systems for further efficiencies and to further support the ongoing needs of the business.
Emphasis will be across all areas of the business, though specialising across Shared Services, Supply Chain and Operations.
Main responsibilities:
-Work with IT to provide support for current and future business needs.
-Review the IT services delivered for with different business areas.
-Provide advice on business processes and systems.
-Document and agree requirements in form of specification for IT, or Statement of Requirements for external supply.
-To act as a user champion and provide support to the IT Department to ensure that it delivers on work that has been accepted.
-Partnering with IT services, internally or externally, to ensure delivery of a business benefit.
-Significant element of supporting Strategic Programmes
-Act as project lead or provide support to a project leader by providing technical and project management advice to enable delivery of projects.
-To identify technology trends/innovation opportunities in the use of technology.
-Work with other IT colleagues to continually review, simplify and improve on IT delivery.
Assist in the testing and implementation of IT solutions.
-As a member of the change approval team, assist in the process for approving change implementation for IT as and when required.
Experience:
-Experience of Business Analysis
-Experience of ERP systems and implementations
-Knowledge of or basic exposure to SAP.
-Retail or Supply Chain experience.
