Business Analyst - Retail - My client is a household name fashion retailer who is looking for Business Analyst to work across Buying, Merchandising and International Channels. You will be responsible for providing software solutions comprising a mixture of bespoke and package solutions. You are involved in the full life cycle of systems developments and are also responsible for providing application support. You will be responsible for the following:- Gather business requirements and translate users requests into well structured and clearly documented specifications.- Conduct feasibility studies, review options and recommend alternative solutions.- Gather information needs and model into database requirements.- Define project objectives and constraints.- Be responsible for production of functional specifications.- Facilitate meetings and workshops.Skills required:- Experience of using recognised development methodologies e.g. Agile- Experience of using process mapping tools and standards e.g. UML / Rational.- Customer focused approach.- Ability to deliver projects on time and to budget.- Worked on a variety of projects including complex and large scale projects Ideally, you will have knowledge of retail packages e.g. SAP, Oracle, ReteK, JDA but this is not essential.
