C#/ASP.NET Developer with middle office experience required urgently for Tier 1 Investment Bank. The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
Essential
* Experienced using Microsoft Visual Studio C# .net (3.5 .NET desirable).
* Good team communication
* Team player
* Test driven approach
* Good OO design skills, knowledge of patterns and architectural understanding.
* Oracle 9i, 10g or 11g database with strong experience coding PL/SQL procedures and functions.
* Strong SQL Server experience would also be considered.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Willingness to learn, adopt and advance team best-practices, procedures and qualitative standards.
* Willingness to own issues and chase them through to completion, communicating effectively and in a timely manner, throughout.
Desirable
* Subversion experience
* Experience of SCRUM/Agile
* Investment banking experience, with front or middle office team experience advantageous.
* UNIX or Linux experience.
* C# experience developing Windows applications as opposed to pure web development.
* A working knowledge of accounting with experience of corporate GL structures and flows would be beneficial.
