Team Manager - 3-6 month contract OR fixed term pro-rata - Oxfordshire (salary negotiable)
This leading merchant business based in Oxfordshire is urgently seeking a Team Manager to lead a central division that will be responsible for maintaining all operational processes and procedures.
Your key responsibilities will include:
· Leading and motivating the Central team to deliver to agreed SLA's
· Identifying and sharing best practice as well as areas for improvement
· Ensuring verification of contractor work and authorising work activity
· Reporting detail to credit control so that they can monitor exposure
· Managing the allocation of funds and ensuring that payment invoices are fulfilled in a timely manner
· Attending internal and external meetings as directed (this may require an overnight stay)
To be considered for this position, you will ideally have the following skills and experience:
· Experience of building and managing teams is essential
· Strong experience of running and improving business processes/projects
· Self-disciplined with the ability to deliver to deadlines
· An excellent communicator and relationship builder - able to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
· Computer Literate including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
This role has a degree of flexibility, and will be considered as either a 3-6 month contract, or as a fixed term pro-rata position.
