Technical Business Analyst required urgently for a Tier 1 Investment Bank based in London.
The ideal candidate will have the following primary responsibilities:
In this role the resource shall have the ability to apply technical knowledge in determining the end-to-end requirements for large projects involving the line of business, operations, technology development and vendors. Through the translation of business needs the resource should have the ability to create technical requirements (including technology alternatives) while insuring all systems support conforms to stated requirements.
Work closely with business partners to determine requirements, and develop functional designs based on the analysis of line of business needs, objectives and existing systems infrastructure. Work closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into working technical designs.
Skills Required
* High level of experience in bank processing
* Demonstrated history of strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
* Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across varied areas including technology, business units and leadership
* Prior experience summarizing and presenting complex issues to a non-technical audience
* Demonstrated history of taking ownership of problems and seeing them through to resolution
* Experience with business, functional and non-functional requirements, Use Cases, Test Case and Test Planning, Test execution, and project management
* Process Design experience
* Understanding of DMAIC (and new DAIC) delivery process and methodologies
* Influencing and relationship building / management skills
* High level working knowledge of the end to end requirements process
* Previous experience of working through the full requirements lifecycle of large scale technology efforts
* High level working knowledge of business and system use case development
* Strong MS Office skills including Excel, Visio and MS Project
