MIS Manager- £45,000-£55,000. Birmingham.
Our client, a global Financial Services organisation, is looking for an MIS Manager to work for them on a Permanent basis.
Paying between £45,000-£55,000 per annum (experience dependent), the ideal candidate will have experience of leading a team with Business Objects, SAS and Crystal experience. However, our client is relatively flexible on salary and has asked us not to rule candidates out on a monetary basis.
Job Description & Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Head of MIS & Analytics, you will be responsible for the smooth and effective delivery of products and services by the MIS team to their customers.
- Products include reporting packs, decks and presentations, along with responsibility for delivery and quality of any MI output on behalf of GT Production senior management.
- In addition to managing the timely collection, collation and delivery of MI, the Production Manager is responsible for analysing information produced, ensuring the quality and substance of information is robust and identifying any improvement opportunities.
- Frequent contact with senior management is a large part of the role, and being able to manage and develop this type of relationship is a key factor towards success in the role.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of the Production function with MIS, ensuring a high quality service is delivered from the MIS team
- Managing the monthly reporting cycles, including GT Production inputs to the GT
- Balanced Scorecard, providing the Business Solutions monthly reporting deck and managing the delivery of other cyclical reporting.
- Acting as escalation point and senior face MIS queries and issues coming from external stakeholders
- Manage and maintain controls for assigned processes for the collection, collation and dissemination of strategic MI
- Deliver strategic improvements to the MIS Function
Key Requirements:
- Experience of providing Strategic MI in an IT service provider/organisation
- Experience of managing an MIS team with Business Objects, SAS, Crystal etc experience
- Excellent analytical skills and an ability to use data to formulate strategy
