MI/ SQL Developer
The client: One of the Uks Leading MotorBike Insurers.
Location: Manchester Area
The role: 12 month FTC with possible permanent opportunities and progression along the way..... very competitive rate.
You would be part of the MI team reporting to the MI Team Lead.
Responsibilities include:
· Developing Reports
· Extracting Data
· Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
· Participate in the analysis of trends and common issues to prevent future problems
· Understand all the data that the business holds and assist in the creation of sustainable reporting solutions
· Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates.
Communicate problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders
The Position requires Technical experience in:
T-SQL
SQL Server 2005/2008
SSRS
ETL
Familiarity with the following methodologies and technologies is highly desirable:
· Reporting Toolkits (Reporting Objects/Crystal Reports, QLIKVIEW etc)
· Data Analysis
· Data Warehousing
· SSIS
· RAD, Agile software development
