A fantastic opportunity has arisen to an experienced 1st line support professional / Desktop Support Analyst to join my client's small team to help with the installation, configuration and on-going usability of desktop / laptop computers, associated equipment and software.
Reporting to the Helpdesk Manager, You will also be asked to provide desktop support and troubleshooting as well as hardware and software issue for both local and remote colleagues.
Critical Requirements:
Networked Apple Mac Client / Server systems such as OSX, Leopard, Snow Leopard and Lion.
Networked Microsoft windows Client / Server systems such as Windows XP, Vista or 7.
Windows Server 2003, 2008.
Active Directory.
Microsoft Office 2003, 2007 and 2010.
Desirable:
Qualification in MCDST / MCP / MCSA / MCSE or CCNA.
Experience of Sophos / symantec endpoint administration - Firewall and Anti-virus.
Experience of virtualisation technologies.
Desktop / Laptop disk imaging solutions.
