Test Analyst (ISEB / ISTQB)

Test Analyst required for a permanent position based in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an international organisation looking for a commercially experienced test analyst. You will have experience of Testing all aspects of solutions delivered by the software team to ensure the solution meets the requirements, quality standards and are fit for purpose. As part of this role you will also be required to test and verify software patches , deployments and releases in order to minimise issues found in the live environment.

Skills and experience:

· Working knowledge of test processes and methodologies.
· Ability to derive and document clear test cases.
· Ability to communicate progress effectively to a variety of technical and non technical audiences.
· Ability to write and maintain test specifications, test plans and test documentation.
· Excellent attention to detail is a requirement of this role.
· Ability to execute test cases in line with test documentation.
· Good communication skills with regard to testing updates.

Desirable:
· ISEB certified.
· Degree educated or suitable alternative.
· Working knowledge of TestTrack or TFS ALM.
· Working knowledge of web technologies and database technologies.
· Working knowledge of the Microsoft .Net Framework.
· Working knowledge of ColdFusion.
· Working knowledge of SharePoint as a collaboration tool.
· Web load testing experience.
· Working knowledge of automated testing tools such as Selenium.
· Ability to prioritise own defects and testing effort or to seek guidance on the priority of defects.
