A great opportunity for a Business Relationship Manager to join a leading brand operating across 5 well known sites in the events, business services & hospitality sector is arguably the biggest & busiest operator in their field, generating well over £1 billion for the UK economy.
Key Responsibilities
*Gain detailed understanding of Business Unit strategies, market technology and act as the primary interface of that strategy between IT and the business units and corporate departments.
*Facilitate business strategy implementation by working with business leaders to help define most effective business systems to implement elements of business strategy.
*Support the production of business cases to support proposed processes/solutions.
*Put in place appropriate communication mechanisms to ensure all stakeholders are clear on all relevant aspects of our IT delivery.
*When appropriate act as the initial point of escalation for any concerns into the delivery of IT.
*Working with the Business analysis team ensure formal requirements analysis results in a clear and formal set of requirements against which to deliver value through technology.
*Assist in identifying issues and determining solutions by identifying areas for improvements (changes, enhancements, new solutions).
*Identify the impact of new solutions and processes on the wider organisation and contribute to the delivery of the end product to the customer by advising on effective change management strategies and contributing to the delivery of these where appropriate.
*Oversee the analysis and delivery of acceptance test plans and results using the appropriate teams in IT and stakeholders.
*Implement and continuously review the use of business analysis techniques and tools used
*By acting as the primary IT interface ensure that the business unit is clear on how to resolve IT related issues.
*Along with the team, take on some mini project management where agreed through project governance ensuring tasks are allocated and communication is delivered consistently.
In order to succeed you will need to:
*Proven track history of managing multiple demands across business focused functions resulting in clear development of change portfolios.
*Experience of managing conflicting requirements leading to an agreed resolution.
*Experience of working closely with the senior leadership of organisations allowing a deep understanding of business strategy and direction.
