My client is an expanding ajnd industry leading asset management firm. They seek a senior project manager with significant systems delivery experience within Investment Management. Relevant experience of managing large business changes would be preferable.
My client is embarking on a large number of business change projects during 2013. This role is to assist the existing Projects Group Manager and the Project Managers in managing the cross project dependencies and risk.
In addition the Change Manager will assist in providing best practice to other Project Managers for Project Governance, Project Methodology and Third Party Supplier Management.
The Change Manager will be responsible for managing the cross project dependency plans, reporting to the Project Sponsors and the Projects Group Manager.
Key Change Management tasks will include:
* Develop and maintain a cross programme/project dependency plan - including business resource planning
* Develop and maintain system impact plans
* Maintain consolidated budget reporting for programme and projects
* Develop and maintain a cross programme/project risk log with mitigation actions/plan
* Provide management information and progress updates to senior management and Project Steering Group.
Key Project Management Methodology tasks will include:
* Development and enhancement of Jupiter’s Project Management Methodology (which is based on Prince II)
* Support other project managers in the production of their project deliverables, in terms of advice and guidance and quality assurance.
* Quality Assurance of Project Governance on existing projects.
* Provide management support to Project Assistant for the development of PMO activities and regular project MI
* Development and enhancement of Jupiter’s Third Party Supplier Management methodology
Systems Strategy tasks will include:-
* Support Projects Group Manager in the production of a systems strategy plan for the next 3-5 years.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Proven relevant Investment Management experience gained as a Programme Manager or Change Manager.
* Full life cycle project delivery including System/Supplier selection.
* Production of Strategic road maps for Senior Management.
* Proven experience of project delivery within Investment Management.
* In depth knowledge of formal project methodologies.
* Development and support of Project Management Office and other Project Managers.
* Quality Assurance.
* Third party supplier management.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
* Working as a Consultant for Project, Programme or Change Management.
* Line Management experience.
