Harvey Nash is currently recruiting project managers to join a growing consultancy in Manchester. In this position you will be providing advice and services relating to infrastructure projects for a range of corporate and blue chip clients. Based primarily in Manchester you will be working with clients in the Leeds area too.
As a project manager you will have a experience of project management or managing a workstream in a programme and have experience within an enterprise environment. These roles are suitable for junior and experienced project managers as career development opportunities are available. The successful project managers duties will include:
-Project management of IT infrastructure projects
-Leading assignments so that clients objectives are fully satisfied
-Ensuring an excellent level of service is provided to clients
-Completing projects on time and within budget
-Managing suppliers and third parties
-Working with sales and marketing to ensure extension business and assisting with pre-sales opportunities
The successful project manager will have the following experience:
-It is essential you have a proven track record delivering IT infrastructure projects to enterprise sized organisations
-Experience working for a consultancy is desirable but not essential
-You must be an experienced project manager, ideally with certifications
-You will have previously delivered projects in infrastructure, service management and technology integration
The ideal candidate will have a high level of commercial and financial awareness and be ambitious with a flexible , hands-on approach. You will have excellent consulting skills and be a self-starter with first rate communication and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of IT, excellent communication skills, the ability to influence decision making and have a proactive manner.
In addition to salary you will be eligible for a bonus of up to £5,000 and a pension, 30 days holiday, laptop, mobile phone and mileage.![]()
