My Birmingham based client is currently looking for a Storage Engineer and EMC specialist to join their team on a permanent basis.
You will join a team and be responsible for the centralised SAN and storage infrastructure environments in Birmingham and the regions. Your role will involve system/performance monitoring to make sure the infrastructure runs to its optimum level, you will also need to analyse storage procedures to make sure that there is adequate provision for the business. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Procedures also need to be investigated to make sure all troubleshooting is carried out to effective SLAs.
Technically you need to have:
-Detailed SAN knowledge
-Cisco Switched (CCNA/CCNP would be a bonus)
-Excellent EMC storage frame architecture (DMX,VMAX)
This position is in a busy and pressured environment so you need to be able to prioritise and work multiple projects at once.
Salary is £45,000-£55,000 + excellent bonus + benefits
