Digital Executive - Affilliate Marketing
Location : London with some travel to the Midlands
SALARY : Upto £27,000 dependant on experience
SUMMARY:A high profile independent energy provider is seeking to appoint a Digital Executive with digital marketing experience to join a growing team to work within a fast paced environment. This vacancy arises at an exciting stage of the business's development with the Marketing department set to help drive profitability and growth.
ROLE PURPOSE:This is a hands-on Digital Executive role focused on supporting our affiliate activity and reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager. Responsibility for delivering a best in class affiliate program, through targeted and tactical acquisition activity with a focus on optimising CPA, conversion rates & quality of lead.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
X Forge and nurture close working relationships with the affiliate network partner and key / top tier affiliates whilst identifying new partners and opportunities.
X Identify, evaluate, propose and launch initiatives and campaigns to drive online acquisition through the affiliate channel with the aim of developing a best in class program.
X Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop a channel forecast based on affiliate type, strength of opportunity and defined business targets.
X Ensure that the affiliate program is optimised to deliver improvements in conversion and click through rates within a competitive commercial framework.
X Adhere to brand guidelines & values in maintaining a consistent look and feel when launching supporting marketing collateral.
X Identify and understand opportunities and trends within the broader affiliate marketplace with regards to market conditions, competitor performance and channel developments.
X Review & propose recommendations on current activity, commission terms & affiliate portfolio to maximise campaign performance.
X Negotiate and review commercial arrangements with affiliates with regards to campaign delivery and performance.
X Oversee daily, weekly and monthly reporting & reconciliation and contribute to the implementation of a comprehensive digital marketing performance dashboard ensuring that all activity is appropriately tracked. X Actively contribute to 'Ideas generation' with a view to enhancing and developing a best in class digital offering.
THE DESIRABLE CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
X Keen understanding and experience of managing affiliate programs and the part that the channel plays in the online acquisition mix.
X Ability to analyse performance data and metrics and confidence in making decisions regarding campaign direction based on the analysis and insight.
X Excellent interpersonal skills, numerical analysis and communication skills.
X Capability to manage projects to ensure delivery of multiple / overlapping streams of work.
X Flexibility and a real "can do" approach.
X Ability to learn quickly and get "stuck in".
X Strong commercial focus.
X A degree or relevant qualification.
