SUMMARY: A high profile independent energy provider is seeking to appoint a Digital Executive with digital marketing experience to join a growing team in a fast paced environment. This vacancy arises at an exciting stage of the business's development with the Marketing department set to help drive profitability and growth.
ROLE PURPOSE:This is a hands-on digital marketing role, reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, responsible for managing and maintaining digital campaigns across SEO, PPC, Social Media and Display with a focus on optimising CPA, conversion rates & quality of lead to ensure that an effective channel mix.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
X Lead and assist in proposing and launching initiatives and campaigns to support online acquisition and retention activity.
X Propose and co-ordinate digital marketing campaigns, establish campaign objectives and target audience - to include SEO, PPC, Social Media and Display advertising in line with agreed strategy.
X Understand and interpret performance and trends through the use of Analytics tools.
X Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure that social media efforts are supported fully by Search marketing and vice versa.
X Adhere to brand guidelines & values in maintaining a consistent look and feel when launching supporting marketing collateral.
X Work with appropriate agencies to ensure that marketing initiatives are driving a positive ROI and manage brand perception.
X Work with the wider team to measure site and campaign performance using appropriate reporting tools to determine the effectiveness of activity thereby optimising to ensure greater returns.
X Identify and understand opportunities and trends within the marketplace with regards to market conditions, competitor performance and online developments. In turn, develop a competitor benchmark matrix which is to be used to gauge the Online offering vs. the industry sector.
X Report daily, weekly and monthly and contribute to the implementation of a comprehensive digital marketing performance dashboard ensuring that all activity is appropriately tracked.
X Actively contribute to 'Ideas generation' with a view to enhancing and developing a best in class digital offering.
X Other ad hoc duties as required.
THE DESIRABLE CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
X An ability to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns.
X Sound experience of managing SEO and PPC activity including use of Google Analytics / Adwords.
X Ability to analyse performance data and metrics and confidence in making decisions regarding campaign direction based on the analysis and insight.
X Understanding or experience of social media and media planning.
X Excellent interpersonal skills, numerical analysis and communication skills.
X Capability to manage projects to ensure delivery of multiple / overlapping streams of work.
X Flexibility and a real "can do" approach.
X Ability to learn quickly and get "stuck in".
X Strong commercial focus.
X A degree or relevant qualification.
