Project Manager

A leading insurance specialist is looking for a Project Manager to work as part of their Programme Delivery team, ensuring the successful delivery of assigned projects and Work Requests, meeting time, cost and quality criteria. You will;

 Engage business and IT stakeholders at all levels, ensuring that projects are shaped in such a way as to deliver the desired business benefits with an acceptable risk profile
 Build appropriate project teams, working closely with line managers for Business Analysts, IT operations, Testing, Architecture and other areas to ensure the appropriate resources are allocated to projects
 Conduct planning sessions and create project plans that are fit for purpose and include complete clarity on the activities, deliverables, timescales, risks, assumptions and dependencies involved in projects
 Perform regular risk assessments, proactively manage risks and put in place effective risk mitigation plans for assigned projects
 Ensure the successful delivery of key projects into the business`s support framework ensuring that all support documentation is in place
 Ensuring that all Project work adheres to the prince2 methodology including provision of all associated documentation
 Working with third parties (e.g. training providers and development partners) to ensure build/configuration work will meet the business requirements
 Supporting UAT and project implementation both from a business and IT perspective
 Put in place effective communications/marketing plans for assigned projects
