Job description
Our client is looking for a content editor for a new online best practice and learning sharing platform. The role consists of the following areas:
1. Processing new content - Review potential video clips, upload and describe them on The Hub and arrange for approval from owners and contributors. In addition the video content editor will identify and process clips from other learning solutions
2. Content management - Take ownership of The Hub’s content categories, navigation, and keywords. Feature content, approve and publish content from our partners. Create feature articles on The Hub, assist with online evaluation and promotion activities. Moderate user discussions and flagged content etc.
3. Partner support - Provide business and technical support to our partners via phone and email. Help develop and manage a new online Hub partner community
4. Basic content creation - Some of our video clips have to be edited before they can be published. Ideally the video content editor will be able to perform basic editing using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut.
Required skills
· Good experience with text editing / writing (journalism/authoring/blogging)
· Good experience working with CMS or basic website maintenance
· Good experience with Social Media (social platforms and online communities)
· Some experience editing video (preferably with Premiere Pro or Final Cut)
· Excellent English skills (spoken / written / grammar)
