Project Manager - Retail & EPOS
£65,000 per annum
My client, a leading high-end fashion retailer is actively looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their existing team. The purpose of the role is to enable the delivery of IT projects that improve profitability, reduce costs, streamline operations and enhance customer service.
The key responsibilities of the role are as follows
· Setting goals for the project team and leading them through the change process to success
· Develop plans for the project team, lead execution, and monitor progress
* Creation of project budgets in conjunction with sponsor and business functions
* Plan and monitor the project producing associated project documentation
* Organisation and chairing of project meetings for assigned projects
* Manage progress, taking corrective action and/or escalating as required
* Project reporting
* Structure project work and plans using a structured project framework
The essential experience required is as follows:
· Experience of working in the IT department of a multinational organisation
· Strong experience in all areas of retail technology
· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation on a global scale
· Demonstrable experience in delivering organisational change
· Experience in managing internal and external teams
· Experience in managing distributed teams in multiple time zones i.e. EMEA
· A professional project management accreditation
· Experience across a wide range of retail IT projects including both software and infrastructure
· Example EPOS experience would be desirable
