An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Oracle DBA/ Database Manager to work for a fantastic company based in Manchester.
You will work within a team of technical managers to contribute to the definition of and champion, technical strategy for IT systems.
You will provide technical management of a portfolio of applications, therefore experience of database management in a MS SQL and Oracle environments is essential.
Key skills:
·Proven experience of database management in Oracle environments is essential and MS SQL would be desirable.
·Technical management of a portfolio of applications.
·Proven experience of performing a technical lead role in a project environment.
·Proven ability in developing and promoting technical strategies and designs.
·A flexible approach to working hours.
Responsibilities:
·Provide technical management of the portfolio of applications.
·Promote the technical strategy, develop and implement appropriate technical designs and provide day to day technical service.
·Develop and maintain partnership relationships with key suppliers and technical authorities in order to maintain own position as technical leader in areas of expertise.
·Co-ordinate and lead small teams to deliver project activities within overall business change projects.
·Deliver technical design and development activities to programmes and projects.
Salary negotiable dependent on experience.
