Java Applications Lead - Java, Spring, Hibernate, Linux - our client is a globally recognised service and product provider based in Oxford and are looking for an Application Development Lead. You will be responsible for a team of five developers whilst maintaining a hands-on development approach, and providing a key input in to the future direction and design of their products. You will have a proven background of managing budgets, software architecture and development of high performance teams. Technically you will be able to provide a thorough understanding of software methodologies, and various Java frameworks, primarily Spring, Hibernate, JDBC along with a background in Linux/Unix, although Windows will be considered. Along with key technical skills you must be able to demonstrate the ability to forge strong relationships across the business by clearly communicating goals and challenges working closely with the business.
