PERMANENT IT BUSINESS ANALYST OPPORTUNITY - LIVERPOOL - Salary dependedent on experience
This role represents an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced and expanding organisation based in Liverpool.
The main responsibilities of the role will be to effectively provide a conduit between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams to understand the needs of the business and ensure such business needs are satisfied in the design, build and delivery of successful IT solutions that are not just fit for purpose but will derive real business value.
The main duties of this role will include:-
· Progression of IT Demand requests through the defined Demand Management process· Ensuring accuracy and understanding of requirements and that these are clearly defined
· Engagement with Key Stakeholders from the business and IT to ensure any Impact is assessed and considered
· Updating Stakeholders on progress of Demand requests
· Support projects from initial requirement through the full lifecycle including Development, Testing and Implementation
· Understand, challenge and agreeing scope with Stakeholders
· Ensure the completion of standard documentation such as Business Requirement Documents· Conduct workshops with stakeholders· Supporting Clients through User Acceptance Testing and production readiness
· Support and offer guidance to team members
· Build meaningful relationships with other departments, such as Operations and others, and gain a true understanding of the business areas
Skills & Qualification:-
· Previous working background as a IT Business Analyst in HR/Finance
· Background working in Logistics / Supply Chain would be an advantage
· Practical experience of the complete end to end project lifecycle
· Degree educated
· Self sufficient
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to produce high quality documentation
· Process engineering / Process improvement knowledge
· Appreciation of Project Planning principles an advantage
· Foundation ISEB or Six Sigma (or similar best practice skill set) desirable but not essential
