SUMMARY:
The Digital Project Manager reports to the Snr Digital Project Manager and works with the digital team to deliver projects of the highest quality on time and in budget.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· First point of contact for all production-base projects.
· Working with suppliers and VR stakeholders to effectively scope and define production project briefs.
· Effectively complete the business requirements documentation and ensure all requirements and stages have been fully thought out and completed before passing onto the TIA/Developer teams.
· Responsible for the creation and management of all aspects of the weekly/monthly Digital reports. Knowledge on gathering data from a number of sources, including Google Analytics.
· Working with internal and external teams to ensure agreed scope is delivered on time and budget.
· Highlighting project risks to management ASAP.
· Produce timelines for projects.
· Monitor and follow up to ensure deadlines are met at every stage and that the project is kept on track.
· Monitor costs to ensure projects do not go over budget.
· Ensure ongoing communication with team members and stakeholders to keep project on track and everyone up to date on progress/developments.
· Ensuring product is fit for release.
· Make your project the best it can be.
· Training of all stakeholders in new functionality, e.g. CMS, etc
· Support to Villages in respect to use of functionality.
· Developing and maintaining effective tracking processes for projects against delivery dates.· Build strong relationships with the local Village teams.
· Be a friendly and effective point of contact and colleague.
· Provide training and mentoring where required.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
· Digital Producer/Project Manager with solid project management, process understanding and minimum 2 years experience.
· Experience in digital/new media environment and of managing web development projects.
· Awareness of digital content development (websites, social media/community) and an understanding of web development, emails and banner ads.
· Experience of working in a fast paced business environment.
· Excellent attention to detail and follow through.
· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Able to communicate verbally and in writing technical and non-technical subjects to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Proficient in MS Project, Excel, content management systems and experience of producing wireframes.
· Able to work individually and as part of a team.
· Think proactively and offer solutions for problems.
