My client is looking to fill a permanent requirement out of their midlands based site.They are currently looking for a Network Analyst to sit within their operations team and take control and responsibility of their virtualisation and server environments as well as all future developments. The successful candidate will be confident in planning, designing and implementing any changes that need to be made to current servers, network and environments. For the role the qualification VCP 4 or higher is needed as is an in depth, hands on knowledge of VMware 4 and vSphere5.You will need to have hands on experience working with SAN technologies and implementation of virtualisation solutions across multiple locations for this role. As well as have hands on experience and knowledge of SUSE Linux 10 and 11.Any extra knowledge around Novell Open Enterprise Server would be very beneficial for this position as would exposure to networking LAN, TCP/IP and switches. Personality means a lot to my client as they are looking for someone who is self-motivated and has great enthusiasm to 'get the job done' while maintaining a professional attitude at all times.
