My client, a leading energy trading company are looking for a Compliance and Internal Control Business Support Analyst to provide temporary cover during recruitment of a Service Delivery SME for Compliance and Internal Control applications. This role covers delivering Business Outcomes and Incident and Problem Management for a portfolio that contains two large application solutions and a number of small but critical applications. Many of the applications are key to IST’s licence to operate. The role will require managing the onshore and offshore vendor managed services that underpin the support and admin of the applications and working with the Trading Functions Delivery Organisation to safely bring upgrades into production.
Essential
· Experience of working within a range of technologies and key business functions in the Compliance and Internal Controls sector.
· Experience of working with a range of technologies including Oracle or SQL, UNIX, XML.
· Experience of supporting critical applications working to deadlines & SLAs.
· Experience of Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management.
· Experience of problem solving & analytical skills.
· Experience of being proactive, independent and being able to work effectively within teams.
· Experience of managing vendor and managed service relationships in a Service Delivery Organisation
· Strong written & verbal communication skills.
· ITIL Practitioner qualified
Preferred
· Experience of supporting applications within Business Communications Recording and Retrieval, Compliance Analytics, Access Control and Internal Control.
· Experience of application development.
· Experience of working with a range of applications and technologies including Lync / OCS, Aveksa, Actimise, Vantage, Symantec EV and Compliance and Discovery Accelerator.
