As the Head of Service Delivery and Vendor Management you will identify, scope, develop, implement and deliver support services that meet the requirements of the business. You will be responsible for implementing and managing vendor management that formulates the strategic sourcing model across the business change and technology department.
Reporting to the Director of Business Change and Technology, you will lead a team of 29 and liaise with executive members, divisional management, support teams, Key vendors and strategic partners to create and deliver the best service possible.
As the Head of Service Delivery and Vendor Management, you will:
· Ensure the provision and performance of services meet the standards, quality and cost demanded by the organisation and establish frameworks to monitor the service provided, ensuring value for money over the lifetime of the service.
· Set targets, monitor performance and manage the service ensuring that SLA’s, contracts and negotiations with both internal and external suppliers meet business needs.
· Advise and influence at the highest level, regarding delivery, costs, availability and functionality of services and systems and develop effective partnerships, based on mutual commercial interest for future development.
· Contribute to and understand fully the strategic goals of Mitchells & Butlers so that opportunities and potential benefits delivered are identified.
· Develop and agree a 3 year strategic rolling service plan.
· Become an expert in vendor management, ensuring effective long-term performance, relationship and risk management.
· Naturally keep aware of current and future trends and will have a broad knowledge of current techniques and practices associated with development and service
· Have broad knowledge of project management and/or operational management standards and procedures and maintain an active awareness of good practice frameworks.
Above all, you will be a strong communicator and able to work with and influence stakeholders of all levels. You will have worked to corporate, industry and professional standards, specifically ITIL (version 2 essential, version 3 desirable).
