Head of Online Community

Head of Online Community required for a reputable organisation based in North Leeds, to be responsible for creating and delivering an online customer community, reporting directly into the Marketing Director and responsible for the Online Community Manager and Community Activation Manager as direct reports.

You will have your finger on the pulse of our target audience, their needs, interests and wants, identifying emerging trends and opportunities to better connect with and positively impact their lives.

Main Responsibilities:
· Develop a clear and demonstrable understanding of target audiences
· Co-ordinate and foster the development and significant growth of a customer led community that is relevant
· Deliver an environment that is rich in content and provides relevant information, services and support, and which actively encourages participation
· Ensure testing of the potential for community engagement and growth in both online and offline environments, fostering a range of community activities to meet the emerging needs of audiences
· Build strong external relationships and networks
· Develop an approach to planning and communication that is inclusive and enables identification of opportunities
· Be involved in the creation of a community roadmap that ensures customer’s experience remains relevant and meaningful
· Collaborate with key people internally to provide creative challenge to ensure that community based activity is aligned
· Oversee and develop the capabilities of the team, ensuring all aspects of performance management and organisational behaviours are understood and delivered
