Harvey Nash Finance are currently working in partnership with a large Midlands based client to recruit a Payroll Manager on a Permanent basis.
As Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the operation of 3 payroll functions; (2x monthly and a 4 weekly payroll), you will also be responsible for a small team.
Main Duties will include ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time, resolving issues where necessary, producing accurate management reports, controlling staff costs through reporting and analysis and keeping the department up to date with payroll legislation's.
To be considered for the role, you must have previous experience of managing a multi-site payroll function, have a basic understanding of double-entry accounting and be able to complete control account reconciliation, be CIPP qualified (ideally), strong leadership and motivational skills. Retail/FMCG experience would be an advantage.
In return my client is offering a permanent annual salary c£60,000 plus benefits.
