Service Manager

Harvey Nash is currently recruiting a Service Manager to join the technology solutions division of a fast growing department of a global consultancy. Turnover is set to double over the next 18 months so there is a need for someone to join this entrepreneurial and innovative team to help produce results. Reporting to Partner level you will be responsible for opportunities from pre-sales, through to engagement and take ownership for delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships and has a high level of commercial acumen as you will be responsible for driving revenue and profit while chipping in with the rest of the team on an ad hoc basis as required.

The company operate on a global scale servicing projects for blue chips, multi nationals and high profile events providing solutions consultancy services. This team are involved in delivering internal and external clients with technology solutions which allow them to better manage their built assets. Developing solutions they utilise 3rd party products as well as creating bespoke applications.

This is a varied role covering project management and delivery, stakeholder management, service management, commercial management and business development.
Duties will include:
-Management of project work streams from inception to delivery
-Creating solutions to solve business problems
-Positioning sales to meet technology needs
-Monitoring and reporting on progress
-Driving change to ensure the success of technology solutions
-Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders
-Monitoring costs and profitability of projects

It is essential you have the following skills and experience:
-Experience working with multiple clients/projects simultaneously
-Experience managing budgets
-Knowledge of business analysis, software development and delivery
-Experience providing consultancy services or being client facing
-Commercial acumen and the ability to drive profit
-Leadership skills and the ability to think strategically
-The ability to project a composed and confident manner when under pressure.

This role will initially involve an intensive period of travel, and then travel will be around 2 nights per week. There is the opportunity to work from home in this role.

Salary is circa £65,000, there is a 15% bonus and other benefits. Opportunities for progression are available in a number of career paths.
