Data Centre - Project Manager - Cloud Technologies. My London based media/broadcasting client is looking for a Data Centre Project Manager with previous management, installation and selection of data centres experience. Previous experience of managing large scale transformation programmes is essential with strong working knowledge of available cloud technologies and vendors very much preferred.The programme will be made of 3 streams supported by a BA and a PM. Each stream will report in the Programme Director and will be responsible for delivering in conjunction with the other streams, the overall business case to detail the Pan requirement for short term identification of any capacity issues and also the strategic long term goals of hosted services in the appropriate environment. You will work with a variety of technology streams and business areas to ensure the ideal location for the services to be deployed and the Data Centre PM will be responsible to identify the services that are consumed within the business. You will be required to produce Project Definition Document (PDD) to get agreement to key components of the project and produce an overall Project Management Plan (PMP) that is aligned to the targeted benefits defined in the PDD and meets known time, cost , resource or process constraints.![]()
