In the role as HR Shared Services Manager you will work as part of a well-respected professional service business experiencing exciting change. They have a requirement for a credible HR Shared Service Manager with a hands-on approach, to drive forward the shared service centre ensuring that outsourced HR service provisions are delivered and managed in a cost effective manner to drive efficiency.Based at Head Office, your role shall be to build strong working relationships across varied corporate and professional support functions.Role Purpose:· To work with the HRBP - Reward & HR Services on the formulation and delivery of the HR strategy· Ensures that outsourced HR service provisions are delivered and managed in a cost effective manner to drive efficiency · Drive and manage transactional HR activities in line with the broader HR advisory service whilst maintaining high levels of service· To develop a comprehensive set of service standards against which the performance of HR Services can be measured· To develop a staffing infrastructure that delivers HR and payroll guidance to all colleagues· Develop systems for the training and development of service centre staff to ensure that advice is up to date and in line with organisational needs· To work closely with business managers and HR business partners/consultants to ensure that organisational needs are met· To develop processes using multi media that enhance access to and usage of all integrated shared services· To be responsible for ensuring that all colleagues are aware of developments within the service centre and its service provision· Any other duties within the scope and spirit of the role as directed by the HRBP - Reward & HR Services. Skills/Knowledge/Experience· Well-developed consultancy skills, including a successful record of building personal credibility and managing relationships with key business decision-makers, and HR colleagues· Knowledge of in-house & outsourced payroll provision· Operational people management· Administration of Flexible Benefits provision· Must have the confidence to challenge and influence key business decision-makers· Payroll reconciliation· Experience of ResourceLink Aurora (desirable)· Strong Excel and analytic skills· First line employee relations experience.
